Hydrocodone is an excellent medication for reducing pain and discomfort. Unfortunately, it can also come with serious side effects because people who use it find that they have to take more of it overtime to get the same kind of painkilling effect. That can lead to taking too much of the drug or taking it more often than prescribed. If that happens, there’s a real risk of addiction. That may be one of the most serious side effects of hydrocodone: that it’s addictive. It can also slow breathing and heart rate, cause blackouts, and create memory problems when it’s taken for a long time. But Crestview Recovery is here to help.
The Side Effects of Hydrocodone Can be Serious
It’s important anyone suffering from the side effects of hydrocodone take a careful look at their usage level. If you’re taking it unprescribed or more than your doctor recommends, you may be struggling with addiction. There’s help available to you. Treatment facilities and programs understand the seriousness of an addiction to prescription medication. We know it can be hard to admit to an addiction. Also, it’s not easy to reach out for help. But it’s very important that you take the first step toward a clean and sober life.
Once you reach out to our staff for help, we can work on a treatment plan that will give you the quality recovery you’re looking for. You can get more out of your life than what you currently have. They’re just patiently waiting for you, and we can help you get back to a place where you can start working on them again. We’re here to help you succeed at recovery.
